Dressing for the Mountains
Staying warm starts with staying dry. Always dress in layers when coming to the mountains. Cotton makes you colder by holding moisture against your skin and drawing the heat away from your body. We recommend a synthetic fiber as a ‘base layer’. Wool, fleece, or other medium weight fibers are recommended. Hats, gloves, sunscreen, UV eye protection, and boots are also a must.
Adjusting to Altitude
Altitude affects 25% of people with symptoms ranging from headaches to slight nausea. Drinking plenty of water during your visit as this will help ensure you do not dehydrate or experience unnecessary discomfort.
Our concierge can make arrangements for your point to point or round trip airport transportation. Advanced reservations are recommended. Let us know if you prefer private luxury travel accommodations , or commercial shuttles, and allow us to assist you with your transportation requests.
